What is The Global Development Initiative (GDI).

The full form of GDI is Global Development Initiative. It is proposed by China. GDI was launched by President Xi Jinping in 2021. In a speech at the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly, Xi declared GDI. The GDI was meant to achieve all the objectives of the United Nations’ 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. More than 100 countries have expressed their support to this Initiative.
