A teacher and A great teacher

What is the difference between 'A teacher' and 'A great teacher'!

An ordinary teacher often suffers from superiority complex. S/He believes that they are better than students and their eternal duty is to teach them, make them learn.
Sometimes they forcefully inject knowledge in students as a mother forces her toddler to eat though the kid is not hungry.
Well, I'm 100% sure that mother's intention is good but does it make any sense?

On the other hand great teachers don't teach so many things. They just talk to students, share experience, never try to make students learn or read. They create a thirst for knowledge in pupils so that the students can teach themselves.

Ordinary teacher says read the theory of Karl Marx and great teacher says 'know thyself'.
